WE NEED HOST FAMILIES
For 40+ years the Damain Institute of Aarschot, Belgium, has enjoyed an exchange program with Sacramento area high school students and their families. Next March, 31st Belgian students will arrive in Sacramento for a 2-week visit. We will share with them the best of Northern California with overnight trips to San Francisco and Yosemite, a tour of our State Capitol and midtown Sacramento and a day trip in Grass Valley. Next June our students will travel to Belgium and stay with the family of the student they hosted. Activities abroad include Brussels, Brugge, Breendonk (a prisoner work camp during WWII), canoeing in the Netherlands, and an overnight trip to Paris, France.
Important Dates:
The Belgian students and chaperones arrive 04/1/2026 and depart 04/16/2026
The American students travel to Belgium (Approximately) 06/24/2026 – 07/8/2026
